Smart Spool Diff - Complete

This is a COMPLETE SMART SPOOL DIFF, assembled and ready to bolt into your machine.

This option is for riders who do not already have a Smart-Lok differential to install our Smart Spool parts into. We start with a brand-new Smart-Lok differential, remove the factory internals, and install our Smart Spool components so you can have the same strong 4-wheel-drive setup we run.

This setup fits multiple years, makes, and models of Can-Am machines, not just the X3.

Current Stage 3 Setup

Our current Stage 3 rear-axle design allows you to run rear axles all the way around your Can-Am.

Stage 3 will fit:

• OEM rear axles
• King Cobra Level 3 rear axles
• Other compatible axle configurations

Minimal grinding to the stock knuckle is required. See installation video for details.

Stage 1 and Stage 2 have been discontinued.

Optional Pinion Support

You can add our Pinion Support, which includes an adapter and double-roller bearing for additional support.

This strengthens the pinion and helps eliminate premature wear on the needle bearing and the case surrounding the needle bearing.

• Brand-new Smart-Lok differential case
• Smart Spool components installed
• Complete differential assembled and ready to bolt in
• New components throughout. We no longer use used cases for our Smart Spool kits.

Important Axle Information

Some 33-spline axles have been found to vary significantly in spline size, measuring approximately 1.045"–1.065" across the spline surface.

If your axle measures under 1.055", contact us before installation. We do not recommend running an undersized axle in our Smart Spool.

Please verify axle measurements with a digital micrometer/caliper before installation.

Warranty

Smart Spool parts are covered by our 1-Year Unlimited Miles Warranty, including the Smart Spool and billet side cover.

The warranty does not cover:

• Smart-Lok cases
• Ring gears
• Pinions
• Bearings
• Damage caused by undersized or worn axles

The Smart Spool will not be warrantied for damage caused by an undersized 33-spline axle. Axles must measure 1.055" or greater.

Returns & Lead Time

Smart Spool differentials and Smart Spool parts are non-returnable.

Our Smart Spools are made to order. Once your order is placed, we begin the manufacturing process.
